Eliot we hardly knew ya. Actually, we did know you by your near-insatiable and unrelenting caning of Wall Street denizens during years past. It was that Eliot Ness quality that thrust you into the media spotlight.


But, as happens to most who live in glass houses, they end up getting lacerated when they ignore the crack in the ceiling.


Whether what the governor did was moral or immoral, is left up to our maker to decide.
What Spitzer did do was not only disappoint the nearly 70 percent of the electorate that placed him in office, but squander a grand opportunity to change politics as usual in Albany.


Everything changes on day one.


Everything changes on the last day as well.
