Business Expo at County Center

The Westchester County Center in White Plains will host the Lower Hudson Valley Business Expo 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4. The event is billed as “a day of information, trade booths and lectures provided by federal, state and local agencies, as well as small, medium and major corporations, business assistance groups, local chambers and their members, all designed to help business and entrepreneurs operate more profitably and effectively.”

Admission is free. Parking is $4. The County Center is located at 198 Central Park Ave., next to the Bronx River Parkway.

The County Center will then immediately gin up for the world of baseball memorabilia with its Baseball Card Show Oct. 5 (3 to 9 p.m.); 6 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.); and 7 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Adult admission is $7; kids under 12 are admitted free. Parking is $4.
