10 doctors join specialty group

ENT and Allergy Associates L.L.P. (ENT&A), a tri-state medical specialty group practice with headquarters in Tarrytown, has added 10 physicians to its staff and opened at two new locations in Brooklyn and on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The group now has 75 physicians in 24 offices in the metropolitan area, company officials said.

With the expansion, several subspecialties have been added to the group’s services. They include neuro-otology, the treatment of complex hearing and inner ear disease; laryngology, the treatment of voice disorders; facial cosmetic surgery; and sleep medicine.

ENT&A in October will close its office in New Rochelle and merge operations there in the newly renovated office of Dr. Matt Kates and Dr. Derek Soohoo, otolaryngologists who joined the group in August. With the merger, Dr. Irene Yu will join the group in both its New Rochelle and Purchase offices.

Dr. Chandra M. Ivey, an otolaryngologist, this month joined the ENT&A offices in Mount Kisco and Yonkers. Also joining ENT&A in Westchester County are Dr. Jayanti Rao, an allergist, and Dr, Gerald Suh, a medical expert in sleep and snoring. Both will practice in the group’s Tuckahoe and Yonkers offices.

In White Plains, Dr. Stuart Nevins recently announced his retirement from clinical practice. Company officials said he will remain active at ENT&A as a physician liaison working closely with physician leadership on advocacy issues.

Dr. Dan Gold recently joined the ENT&A office in White Plains. He will be affiliated at White Plains Hospital for consultation and surgery.

Last year, ENT&A merged two groups in Rockland County and consolidated operations in an 8,000-sqaure-foot, newly renovated state-of-the-art facility in West Nyack. Dr. Eric Roffman will join the staff there.
