Business-services firm bought


FocusVision Worldwide Inc. has been acquired by SV Investment Partners, a New York City firm that invests in business-services firms.

The companies did not disclose financial terms.

Founded by CEO John Houlahan in 1990, FocusVision provides live, digital videoconferencing services for market researchers, often making its system available in independently owned conferencing centers.

The Stamford, Conn., company says its clients include 350 of the 500 largest companies in the United States.

FocusVision competitors include ActiveGroup of Norcross, Ga.
