Sound Shore Health System, New Rochelle, a health-care system, was awarded of a grant valued at more than $85,000 from the Metropolitan New York Library Council, Manhattan, an organization that provides services and support to libraries throughout New York City and Westchester, through its hospital library services program. The grant provides access to online databases.

Blue Chip Public Relations Inc., South Salem, a public relations agency, announced that it has been retained as the agency of record by Horizon Wealth Management L.L.C., Baton Rouge, La., a financial advisory firm.
