Michael J. Schiliro
of Armonk was appointed vice president and small-business
banking director at Community Mutual Savings
Bank, White Plains. Most recently, Schiliro
was vice president at Temecula Valley Bank, Temecula,
Calif. Prior to that, he was vice president and
small-business specialist at Wachovia and First
Union Bank, based in Armonk. Schiliro holds a Bachelor
of Science degree in economics from the State University
of New York at Albany.
Michele Rinaldi of Stony
Point was appointed executive director at Adopt-A-Dog
Inc., Greenwich, Conn., and Armonk, an
animal rescue and adoption nonprofit organization.
Most recently, Rinaldi was manager of The Animal
Hospital of Berlin, Kensington, Conn. Before that,
she was a veterinary technician and supervisor at
the Veterinary Referral Center, Little Falls, N.J.
Rinaldi holds both a Bachelor Science degree in
psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in veterinary
technology from Mercy College, a Master of Science
degree in special education from The College of
New Rochelle and a Master of Science degree in educational
administration from Pace University.
Howard Kaufman of Yonkers,
a principal at LeylandAlliance L.L.C.,
Tuxedo, a real estate development firm, was appointed
to the board of directors of Pattern for
Progress, Newburgh, a regional research,
policy, planning and advocacy organization that
strives to preserve and enhance the quality of life
in the Hudson River Valley. Kaufman holds bachelor’s
degree from Queen’s College and a Doctor of Jurisprudence
degree from Harvard University.
